Last updated: May 26, 2026. Meow & Purr keeps document access local and explicit. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.
Meow & Purr does not collect analytics, tracking data, account data, or document contents. No sign-in, hosted workspace, or cloud document service is required to read local files.
Documents stay on your device unless you choose to send a file yourself. Linked local files and local images outside the selected document may require explicit read-only folder permission.
No ads or third-party analytics SDKs are included. Meow & Purr does not sell, share, or disclose app data to advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.
Raw HTML is shown as text instead of rendered, unsafe link schemes are blocked, and oversized local images are not loaded automatically.
Bug reports are sent only when you choose to email them. They may include your email address, app and device details, the issue description, and any sample file you decide is safe to share.
Bug reports are used only to investigate app issues. You can request deletion of a bug report you sent by using the deletion request email below.
Meow & Purr is a free app provided as-is. Individual technical support is not available, but reproducible bug reports are welcome.
Please do not send private documents. If a sample file is needed, reduce it to the smallest safe example first.
Yes. The app is free of charge and provided as-is.
Files outside the document you opened stay private until you allow access. Meow & Purr may ask you to choose a folder with read-only access before opening linked documents or showing local images.
Raw HTML is shown as text for security so documents cannot inject arbitrary page content into the renderer.
You can email a bug report, but bug reports are prioritized and individual replies are not guaranteed.
